Welcome to our Faith City School community! We trust that this website will inform you about our Christ centered school.
I have been an educator for 20 years, having been born here in Whanganui and educated in the city. I had it in my heart from a young age to become a teacher and as such completed teacher training at Bethlehem College Tauranga – a wonderful Christian teacher training facility. I am also a member of Faith City Church. I am really thankful to both the church and the school community for their work in mine and my whanau’s life.
At Faith City, the Christian faith is at the heart of everything we do. This cornerstone effects everything we do and drives us to place the education and achievement of your children at the forefront of all decision making.
We are committed to immersing our children in an environment that is deeply founded in Christian values. We are focused on creating a climate where each child can develop their knowledge and relationship with God and so positively impact those around them. Your child will learn to embrace our school’s values – Respect for God, Respect for Self, Respect for Others and Respect for the Environment. As a result, I believe that when they leave us at the conclusion of their school life here at Faith City School, they will be able to walk as disciples of Jesus and be successful in their future endeavors.
I am married to Tasha, who is also a teacher. We have six children, three whom attend Faith City School. I love the outdoors and sport.
